Cub Scouts

At any time, the boys in Cub Scout Pack 15 are involved in games, crafts, sports, hiking, fishing, and family camping!  Boys in school grades 1 through 5 are welcome to join Pack 15.

• Tiger Cubs - grade 1
• Wolf Cubs - grade 2
• Bear Cubs - grade 3
•  Webelos - grades 4 and 5

Cub Scout Pack 15 meets on Monday nights from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Trinity's Family Life Center (FLC). 

Once a Cub Scout has completed the Webelos program, he is eligible to move on to a Boy Scout Troop.

  April 14, at the District Recognition Banquet, Pack 15 was designated as a 2010 Quality Unit. This distinction goes to just a few of the packs in our Council and is a direct reflection of the Pack Leaders commitment to providing a top-notch program. Four of our Pack Leaders (Lanier Archer, Eric Banta, Tracy Grimes and Jay Williams) were recognized with performance awards (knots).

As you may know, (24) Webelos Cub Scouts crossed over to our Boy Scout Troop in April. An impressive ceremony that was enjoyed by all attendees.

April 16, Several Dens from Pack 15 assisted with cleanup chores around the Trinity grounds. We mostly concentrated on trash pickup and putting out straw bales at the front, side and rear entrances. Later that afternoon we had a Space Derby in the FLC where (23) Cubs competed with their rubber-band powered rockets.

This coming weekend, May 13 - 14, Pack 15 will have a Campout and Field Day behind the FLC with lots of fun things to do, followed that evening by a Crossover Ceremony for the Tigers, Wolves and Bears.

Our District is hosting a Cub Day Camp (5 days, called Twilight Camp) during the first week of June and open to all Cubs. A large number of our Cubs have already signed up. We have scheduled a Pack Swim at Grace Baptist for June 18. Resident Camp (a youth/adult camping experience) is scheduled for July 14-17 at Camp Sidney Dew. We don't quit for the summer!

Pack 15 now serves more than (100) Cub Scouts and their families.
