Why study Disciple?

DISCIPLE is a program of disciplined Bible study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders.  It focuses on the disciple as learner, believer, follower, and servant while providing the fellowship of a small study group.  Individual home study of Scripture is assigned each week and supplemented with a weekly 2-hour group lesson.

 The purpose of DISCIPLE Bible study is "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ."  ~Ephesians 4:12

DISCIPLE I  Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study   Disciple I is the pre-requisite for all other Disciple Studies. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the entire bible - both Hebrew and Greek Testaments. Thirty-four week study. Cost of Study Manual $30.      

DISCIPLE II  Into the Word  Into the World  Disciple II studies the Judeo-Christian relationship and focuses on reading Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts, with supporting texts. Thirty-two week study. Cost of Study Manual $30.

DISCIPLE III Remember Who You Are  Disciple III focuses on reading the Old Testament Prophets in their historical settings and the Letters of Paul, with supporting texts. Thirty-two week study. Cost of Study Manual $30.

DISCIPLE IV   Under the Tree of Life   Disciple IV focuses on reading the Old Testament Writings (Ruth, Ezra, Nehemiah, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, etc.) and the writings of John (Gospel of John, 1John, 2John, 3John, Revelation), with supporting texts. Thirty-two week study. Cost of Study Manual $30.

JESUS IN THE GOSPLES DISCIPLE  Second Generation Studies  Jesus in the Gospels is a Second-Generation Disciple Study, requiring in-depth study and comparison of the four Gospels, with supporting texts.  Thirty week study.  Cost for both Study Manuals $40. 

All classes begin in August and complete the following May    Scholarships are available for all classes.
