Trinity's LogoThe new logo for Trinity combines word and symbol to convey the unique identity of our congregation. The icon to the left of the type features three interlocking rings representing the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). The lines forming the rings have an artistic, contemporary feel. Within the rings is the ancient Christian symbol of the fish, made with two intersecting arcs. The Greek word for fish (Ichthys) can be read as an acrostic that stands for "Jesus Christ, God's Son, Savior.". The "Jesus fish" is positioned so that it points toward the word TRINITY in our logo. The type font used is similar to the lettering presently displayed on the outside of our Family Life Center. It can be described as classy and traditional but not formal. It has a clean, open feel that is easy to read. The sienna color used for the fish and for the word TRINITY reflects the familiar "cross and flame" red with a bit of an update. The color has been softened to give it a more approachable feel. This red - representing love, excitement, energy, and movement - is perfect for our dynamic, growing congregation. The gold color of the rings represents the sun, laughter, happiness, hope, and optimism - quite fitting for a group of believers who find their joy in the Lord. The brown used elsewhere in our logo is earthy and real, conveying friendship, reliability, tradition, and stability. After all, Trinity members have been "loving one another to Christ" for more than 25 years. |
